Sunday 20. November 2022 at the Wildlife Learning Center in Sylmar, CA: Bill and I were privileged to meet the new baby sloth. Sadly this little one’s mother died of kidney failure shortly after giving birth, but fortunately the baby is thriving and growing!

Beneficiaries of the 2021 Inaugural Golf Tournament were the International Bird Rescue, the Pasadena Humane Wildlife Program and the Wildlife Learning Center: each receiving $10,000.
International Bird Rescue is a global conservation organization for birds in a changing world. Since 1971, Bird Rescue has responded to over 250 oil spills and other wildlife emergencies, caring for more than 160,000 birds on six continents.
The Pasadena Humane Wildlife Program cares for injured, sick and orphaned wildlife with the goal of releasing animals back to the wild. Our team of wildlife veterinarians and technicians care for a variety of species onsite and partner with local wildlife rehabilitation organizations when more specialized care is needed.
Wildlife Learning Center (WLC) is a zoological park nestled in an old olive grove in San Fernando Valley, California, where visitors can appreciate and learn about animals from around the world. WLC was founded to provide public education in the life sciences, conservation, and our environment. WLC is dedicated to providing life-long care to more than 100 displaced, rescued, and zoo-born wild animals who call this shady, natural environment home.
